Description
Simple Experiment Assignment and uses the same “Stroop Data” database as before. In this assignment we ask: Does reading ability moderate the Stroop effect? We hypothesize that the age of the participant will interact with trial type (matching or unmatching).
Conduct this 2 (age: 4 and 6) x 2 (trial type: matching or unmatching) within-subjects ANOVA. Report and interpret the results.
Written Assignment:
Prepare a 500-word write up of the results of the study. For your analyses, you should run one test to determine whether age and trial type interact to impact Stroop performance. Your report should indicate which statistic you used for each analysis, report the result in APA format, report the means in APA format, and include an interpretation of these results in plain English. Please remember to report the interaction and both main effects. (Example written assignment attached)
