Question Description

I’m working on a criminal justice discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Here is an example: Suppose I read chapter 1 of the text then browse all the weekly resources.  In the chapter, I come across the concept of “Myths about Ethics.” I find this interesting, particularly in ethics, ethical behavior as impossible. I go into the forum, and I post my topic in the form of a question by first providing some background information (no less than 200) words. I write about the role of the expectation of ethics and how it cannot be deemed impossible, its relation to concepts of societal norms and expectations. I then post the question for everyone. “Can we assume ethical behavior is impossible in a free society, with no regards to cultural norms and expectations?”

Now that my initial post is completed and contains some background on my topic of interest–containing no less than 200 words and ending in a question

Let me reintegrate this crucial point. Your initial post, your effort that concludes with a question,

“The name of the game” is actual, meaningful, in-depth, and curious engagement during the week. Each time you post, be sure to include references. This may be new to some of you, but the idea is that you own your learning, and you will engage in topics that are of interest to you, while remaining relevant to the material we are covering in a particular week.  So have fun, and I cannot wait to see what questions and responses you ALL produce!
